Beagles

Beagles . . . Because we love and adore our Beagles, we do want people to know that Beagles are not for everyone. Beagles love to hunt and therefore must be kept in a fenced area. They love to bark so if you have sensative neighbors, a Beagle is not for you. They can be stubborn and single-minded to the point of being obsessive about what they want. Beagles love to eat so a strictly-measured diet is a must. There are also several health problems associated with the breed--see our "Links" page. If you are interested in buying a Beagle, please PLEASE buy from a reputable breeder.

What's new with the Beagles . . .

In June, Sherman went to the UKC Premier show in Kalamazoo, MI. Sherman won the Champion class 2 days and won Best of Breed one day. He and Cassie also won Best Junior one day with an entry of 77 juniors!

In March, Sherman finished his UKC Championship.

Sherman won Adult Best in Show at the IABCA show in Columbia, MO on 2/3/08. He also won 4 Best of Breeds, 3 Group 1's and a Group 2 that weekend. Sherman finished his International Championship with 4 V-1 ratings.
